Kay Sherris was an American actress who was active in the film industry from 1915 to 1929. She was born on March 20, 1888 in Virginia City, Nevada. She began her career in the theater, performing in vaudeville and stock companies. She made her film debut in 1915 in the silent film The Master Key. She went on to appear in over 30 films, including The Great Adventure (1916), The Little American (1917), The White Sister (1923), and The Big Parade (1925). Sherris was married to actor and director William Desmond Taylor from 1916 to 1918. She retired from acting in 1929 and died in Los Angeles, California on April 28, 1965. Kay Sherris had an estimated net worth of $1 million at the time of her death.
