Kazem Gholami is an Iranian wrestler who was born on 21 March, 1957 in Iran. He is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won a silver medal in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and a bronze medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. He is also a four-time Asian Games gold medalist, having won gold medals in the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi, the 1986 Asian Games in Seoul, the 1990 Asian Games in Beijing, and the 1994 Asian Games in Hiroshima. Gholami is considered one of the greatest Iranian wrestlers of all time. He is a member of the Iranian Wrestling Hall of Fame and was inducted into the FILA International Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2013. Gholami is currently the head coach of the Iranian national wrestling team. He is also the president of the Iranian Wrestling Federation.
