Kemal Yamak was born in 1924 in Merzifon, Turkey. He was a Turkish politician and diplomat who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1965 to 1966. He was also the Ambassador of Turkey to the United States from 1966 to 1969. Yamak was educated at the Ankara University Faculty of Law and graduated in 1948. He then went on to pursue a career in politics and diplomacy. He was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1965 and served until 1966. He was then appointed as the Ambassador of Turkey to the United States from 1966 to 1969. Yamak was a member of the Republican People's Party and was a close associate of the party's leader, Ismet Inonu. He was also a member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly from 1961 to 1965. Kemal Yamak passed away in 2020 at the age of 85. He was survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters. He was a highly respected figure in Turkish politics and diplomacy and was known for his commitment to the cause of Turkish-American relations.
