Kenneth Johansson is a Swedish politician who has served as a Member of Parliament for the Moderate Party since 2006. He was born on 2 May 1956 in Avesta, Sweden. Johansson graduated from the University of Uppsala in 1981 with a degree in political science. He then went on to work as a political advisor for the Moderate Party from 1981 to 1986. In 1986, he was elected to the Swedish Parliament, where he has served ever since. Johansson has held several positions in the Swedish government, including Minister for Education and Research from 2006 to 2010, Minister for Social Security from 2010 to 2014, and Minister for Employment from 2014 to 2018. Johansson is married and has two children. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys skiing, golf, and tennis. He is also a member of the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences.
