Kirti Nidhi Bista is a Nepalese politician who served as the Prime Minister of Nepal from 1963 to 1964. He was born on 15 January 1927 in Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal. He was educated at the University of Calcutta and the University of Oxford. Bista was a member of the Nepali Congress Party and served as the Prime Minister of Nepal from 1963 to 1964. He was also the Minister of Home Affairs from 1959 to 1960 and the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1960 to 1961. Bista was a strong advocate of democracy and human rights in Nepal. He was a key figure in the establishment of the Nepali Congress Party and was instrumental in the drafting of the Constitution of Nepal in 1959. Bista was awarded the Order of Gorkha Dakshina Bahu, the highest civilian award in Nepal, in 1964. He passed away on 28 April 2020 at the age of 93.
