Koji Nakao is a Japanese professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Koji Kanemoto. He is currently signed to All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW). He is a former three-time AJPW World Junior Heavyweight Champion, two-time AJPW World Tag Team Champion, and one-time AJPW World Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. Nakao made his professional wrestling debut in 2000, and quickly rose to prominence in AJPW, where he won the World Junior Heavyweight Championship three times. He also held the World Tag Team Championship twice, and the World Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship once. Nakao has also competed in other promotions, including New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he held the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship twice. He has also competed in Pro Wrestling Noah, where he held the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship once. Nakao is known for his high-flying style, and is considered one of the best junior heavyweight wrestlers in the world. He is also known for his long-running feud with Minoru Tanaka, which began in AJPW in 2003 and has continued in various promotions since then.
