He is best known for his roles in the films The Emigrants (1971), The New Land (1972), and The Brothers Lionheart (1977). He has also appeared in the television series The Sandhamn Murders (2013-2016) and The Bridge (2011-2018). Björklund was born on 24 February 1937 in Stockholm, Sweden. He studied at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm and graduated in 1962. He began his acting career in the 1960s, appearing in several films and television series.
