Liana Mendoza

Born in Los Angeles, CA. Mendoza is New York University Tisch School of the Arts taught, earning an additional diploma after graduating from Pace University with a Master in Fine Arts. She simultaneously studies at Ivana Chubbuck Studio working directly with world renowned Ivana Chubbuck in her Master Class under scholarship of NBC Executives. While Mendoza is primarily Native American, (Chichimeca) she shares Mexican DNA, along with Spanish, Polynesian and Black. She celebrates and fully embraces her multi-ethnic heritage and is deeply connected to her roots, ancestors, tribe and traditions. Her unique, ethnically ambiguous look is rightfully sought after in film and television and others are taking notice. Cosmopolitan Magazine published a "Sexiest Spaniard" editorial and Mendoza is listed, along with Enrique Iglesias, Antonio Banderas, and Penélope Cruz. Mendoza was also honored by SAG-AFTRA as an up and comer "Trailblazer Performer". Latin Business Association awarded her "Entertainer of the Year" and Hispanic Lifestyle recognized her with their prestigious "Latina of Influence" Award. Mendoza is honored to be a symbol of hope for so many people of color. After joining the cast of the FX, Emmy-Award winning show, American Horror Story (2011) in 2015 starring Lady Gaga she has gained more notoriety.
