Liz Prince is an American cartoonist and writer. She is best known for her autobiographical comics, which often focus on her experiences as a young adult. She is the author of the graphic novels Will You Still Love Me If I Wet the Bed? and Tomboy: A Graphic Memoir. Prince was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up in the suburbs of Boston. She attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where she studied painting and illustration. After graduating, she worked as a freelance illustrator and cartoonist. Prince's first book, Will You Still Love Me If I Wet the Bed?, was published in 2008. It was followed by Tomboy: A Graphic Memoir in 2014. She has also contributed to anthologies such as The Big Feminist But, The Best American Comics, and The Best American Nonrequired Reading. Prince has been nominated for several awards, including the Ignatz Award for Outstanding Graphic Novel and the Eisner Award for Best Reality-Based Work.
