She is best known for her work on the nationally syndicated country music radio show Crook & Chase, which she co-hosted with Charlie Chase from 1984 to 2016. She is also the co-host of the television show Crook & Chase, which aired on TNN from 1993 to 2001. Crook was born in Wichita, Kansas, and grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. She attended the University of Tennessee, where she majored in journalism. After college, she worked as a news reporter and anchor for WTVF-TV in Nashville. Crook began her radio career in 1984, when she was hired to co-host the nationally syndicated country music radio show Crook & Chase with Charlie Chase. The show was a success, and it was eventually picked up by TNN, where it aired as a television show from 1993 to 2001. Crook has also appeared on numerous television shows, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, and Good Morning America.
