Lou Anger was a pioneering film producer and production manager who worked in the early days of the motion picture industry. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on February 12, 1878. Anger began his career in the film industry in the early 1900s, working as a production manager for the American Mutoscope and Biograph Company. He worked on a number of films, including the first feature-length film, The Great Train Robbery (1903). In 1912, Anger formed his own production company, the Lou Anger Film Company. He produced a number of films, including The Adventures of Kathlyn (1913), The Million Dollar Mystery (1914), and The Million Dollar Mystery (1915). In 1915, Anger joined the Famous Players-Lasky Corporation, where he worked as a production manager and producer. He worked on a number of films, including The Sheik (1921), The Ten Commandments (1923), and The Big Parade (1925). Anger retired from the film industry in the late 1920s.
