Lousaka Polite is an American former professional football fullback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Pittsburgh. Polite has also been a member of the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and New York Jets. Polite was born on September 14, 1981 in North Braddock, Pennsylvania. He attended Woodland Hills High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he was a three-year letterman in football and track. He was a two-time All-Conference selection in football and a two-time All-State selection in track. Polite played college football at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a four-year letterman. He was a two-time All-Big East selection and was named the team's MVP in 2003. Polite was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played for the Cowboys for four seasons, appearing in 48 games and starting in 11. He was released by the Cowboys in 2008 and signed with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Bears for two seasons, appearing in 32 games and starting in 11. In 2010, Polite signed with the Miami Dolphins and played for them for two seasons, appearing in 32 games and starting in 11. He was released by the Dolphins in 2012 and signed with the New England Patriots. He played for the Patriots for one season, appearing in 16 games and starting in 11. He was released by the Patriots in 2013 and signed with the New York Jets. He played for the Jets for one season, appearing in 16 games and starting in 11. Polite retired from the NFL in 2014. On August 11, 2012, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons. He was released on November 7, after he was replaced with Mike Cox.

In 2005, he took over the starting fullback position after Darian Barnes was waived injured with a sprained ankle. In 2006, he was released on October 20 and re-signed on November 2. He was cut on November 7 and re-signed on November 15.

Polite was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys after the 2004 NFL Draft. He was waived before the start of the season and signed to the practice squad on November 3. On December 28, he was promoted to the active roster after fullback Richie Anderson was placed on the injured reserve list with a neck injury.
