Luatangi Vatuvei is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the National Rugby League (NRL) for the New Zealand Warriors, Sydney Roosters, and the Parramatta Eels. He was born in Tonga and moved to New Zealand at the age of nine. Vatuvei made his NRL debut for the New Zealand Warriors in 2002 and went on to become one of the most prolific try-scorers in the club's history. He scored a total of 152 tries in his career, the most by any player in the NRL. He also represented New Zealand in the 2008 and 2013 Rugby League World Cups. Vatuvei retired from the NRL in 2017 after a 15-year career. He is currently the head coach of the Tonga national rugby league team. Vatuvei is 43 years old and has a height of 6 feet and 4 inches.
