He started in journalism in the Discodromo program of CX 8 Radio Sarandí, conducted by Rubén Castillo. Professor of History at the Institute of Artigas Professors and Doctor in Social Communication from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He held various academic positions at the Catholic University of Uruguay. He was the creator of the television program Inéditos, broadcast by Saeta TV Canal 10 between 1989 and 1992, an experience of teamwork of teachers and students of the Catholic University that through amateur film documents approached the history of Uruguayans. He wrote two books about the history of Club Atlético Peñarol.
