Marco Negri is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was born on 24 May 1955 in Mantua, Italy. He began his career with Mantova in 1974, and went on to play for several other Italian clubs, including Inter Milan, Parma, and Torino. He also had a brief spell in England with Rangers. Negri is best remembered for his time at Rangers, where he scored an impressive 34 goals in just 38 appearances. He was the top scorer in the Scottish Premier League in the 1997-98 season, and was voted the Scottish Football Writers' Player of the Year in 1998. Negri retired from professional football in 2001, and has since worked as a coach and a pundit. He is currently the manager of the Italian Serie C side Mantova. Negri is married to his wife, Maria, and they have two children. He is estimated to have a net worth of around $2 million.
