Marija Ivandekić is a Serbian gymnast who was born on 25 August, 1925. She is best known for her accomplishments in the sport of gymnastics, having won multiple medals at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. At the 1948 Summer Olympics, Ivandekić won a bronze medal in the team all-around event, a silver medal in the individual all-around event, and a gold medal in the floor exercise. She also competed in the vault, uneven bars, and balance beam events, but did not medal in those events. Ivandekić was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (now Serbia). She began her gymnastics career at the age of 12, and was coached by her father, who was a former gymnast himself. She competed in her first international competition in 1947, and went on to compete in the 1948 Summer Olympics. Ivandekić retired from competitive gymnastics in 1950, and went on to become a coach. She coached the Yugoslavian national team from 1952 to 1956, and then coached the Serbian national team from 1956 to 1960. Ivandekić is currently 98 years old. Her net worth is unknown.
