Mark Bamford is an American director and writer. He is best known for his work on the television series The Office, Parks and Recreation, and The Mindy Project. He has also directed episodes of the television series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, and The Good Place. Bamford was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. He began his career as a production assistant on the television series The X-Files. He then went on to write and direct episodes of The Office, Parks and Recreation, and The Mindy Project. Bamford has been nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on The Office. He has also been nominated for two Writers Guild of America Awards for his work on The Office and Parks and Recreation. Bamford is currently married to actress and writer Mindy Kaling. They have one daughter together.
