Mark Grantham is an American writer and producer. He is best known for his work on the television series The Rockford Files, which he wrote and produced from 1974 to 1979. He also wrote and produced for the series The Streets of San Francisco, The Six Million Dollar Man, and The Bionic Woman. Grantham was born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 7, 1931. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a degree in English. After college, he began writing for television, and his first job was writing for the series The Virginian. Grantham wrote and produced for The Rockford Files from 1974 to 1979. He also wrote and produced for The Streets of San Francisco, The Six Million Dollar Man, and The Bionic Woman. He also wrote for the series The Incredible Hulk, The A-Team, and MacGyver. Grantham has won several awards for his work, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series for The Rockford Files in 1977. He was also nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series for The Streets of San Francisco in 1975. Grantham is now retired and lives in Los Angeles, California. He is 90 years old.
