Martin Akoghlyan is an Armenian politician and former Prime Minister of Armenia. He was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and graduated from the Yerevan State University in 1981 with a degree in economics. He then went on to pursue a career in politics, becoming a member of the Armenian National Assembly in 1990. Akoghlyan served as Prime Minister of Armenia from 1999 to 2000. During his tenure, he worked to improve the country's economy and to strengthen its ties with the European Union. He also worked to improve Armenia's relations with its neighbors, including Turkey and Azerbaijan. In addition to his political career, Akoghlyan is also a successful businessman. He is the founder and chairman of the Armenian-American Investment Company, which is involved in a variety of industries, including banking, insurance, and real estate. Akoghlyan is married and has two children. He is currently 66 years old.
