He also worked as a cinematographer on films such as The Stepford Wives (1975), The Amityville Horror (1979), and The Shining (1980). In addition to his work in film, Aronstein has also worked on a variety of television shows, including The Rockford Files (1974-1980), The A-Team (1983-1987), and The X-Files (1993-2002). Aronstein has been nominated for two Emmy Awards for his work on The Rockford Files and The X-Files. He has also been nominated for a BAFTA Award for his work on The Shining.
