Martin Lee is a Hong Kong actor and film producer. He is best known for his roles in the films The Killer (1989), Hard Boiled (1992), and Infernal Affairs (2002). He has also appeared in numerous television series, including The Bund (1980), The Legend of the Condor Heroes (1983), and The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber (1994). Lee was born in Hong Kong on 8 June 1938. He began his acting career in the 1960s, appearing in films such as The House of 72 Tenants (1973) and The Private Eyes (1976). He rose to fame in the 1980s with his roles in The Bund and The Legend of the Condor Heroes. In 1989, Lee starred in John Woo's classic action film The Killer, playing the role of Inspector Li. The film was a huge success and established Lee as one of the most popular actors in Hong Kong. He went on to star in several other films, including Hard Boiled (1992) and Infernal Affairs (2002).
