Martin Padar is a 41-year-old Estonian judoka. He was born on 11 April, 1979 in Tallinn, Estonia. He is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won a bronze medal in the 2004 Athens Olympics and a silver medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He is also a four-time European champion and a three-time World champion. Padar began judo at the age of 10 and was soon competing in international competitions. He won his first European title in 2001 and his first World title in 2003. He won his first Olympic medal in 2004 and his second in 2008. Padar is married to fellow judoka, Ksenia Chibisova, and they have two children. He is currently the head coach of the Estonian national judo team.
