Matt Anoai is an American professional wrestler and actor, best known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the ring name "Mack Daddy Kane". He is also known for his appearances in the films The Scorpion King and The Rundown. Anoai was born on April 7, 1970 in Samoa. He is the son of Sika Anoai, a professional wrestler, and Lia Anoai, a professional wrestler and promoter. He has two brothers, Afa Anoai and Sika Anoai Jr., both of whom are professional wrestlers. Anoai began his professional wrestling career in the early 1990s, working for his father's promotion, the World Wrestling Council (WWC). He made his WWF debut in 1996, under the ring name "Mack Daddy Kane". He quickly became one of the most popular wrestlers in the company, and was a two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion. Anoai left the WWF in 2002, and began working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He also made several appearances in the independent circuit, and in 2008, he returned to the WWF, now known as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He retired from professional wrestling in 2011. Anoai has also appeared in several films, including The Scorpion King and The Rundown. He has also appeared in television shows, such as The Weakest Link and Celebrity Fit Club.
