Matteo Bruni (born 1976) is an Italian-British director of the Holy See Press Office of the Roman Curia, appointed 18 July 2019 by Pope Francis, succeeding Greg Burke. He is the first non-journalist to hold the office.

He speaks English, Italian, French and Spanish. He has been a member of the Community of Sant’Egidio, a Catholic lay association committed to social service, since he was a teenager. He is married and has a daughter.
