Lewis has described his association with the number 11 and how it has appeared multiple times throughout his life. For example, he was 11 years old when obtaining the role for Harry Potter, he has a tattoo of the number 11 on his right arm and he also owns clothing with the number 11 on them. Lewis has lived in London since 2015. Lewis announced his marriage to Angela Jones on 28 May 2018.
In 2017, Lewis, a personal friend of American comedian Sal Vulcano, made an appearance on Impractical Jokers as himself, where he filled in for Vulcano, in one of the challenges in the IJ episode, "Universal Appeal", which was shot at Universal Orlando.
In July 2016, it was announced that Lewis is the star in stage production called ‘‘Unfaithful’’ playing the character called ‘‘Peter‘‘.
