UKTV’s award-winning entertainment channel Dave, has commissioned UKTV Original Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable (8×60’), a comedy format which will air later this year.
Produced by Expectation, Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable invites three celebrity guests along to Mel’s confessional each week to find out who’s committed sins that are so bad that they should be declared ‘unforgivable’. The competitive comedians will dare to sin it, to win it.

Giedroyc was born in Epsom, Surrey, and grew up in Leatherhead. Her father, Michal, an aircraft designer and historian of Polish-Lithuanian descent from the Giedroyć family, came to Britain in 1947; he died in December 2017. Her mother, Rosemary "Rosy" Cumpston (born 1937), is of English origin. Mel Giedroyc attended the independent Oxford High School, and later attended Trinity College, Cambridge, graduating with a lower second degree in French and Italian.
