Michel Andrault is a French architect who was born on 17 December, 1926 in Montrouge, France. He is best known for his work on the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, which he designed with his partner, Pierre Parat. He has also designed numerous other buildings, including the French Embassy in Tokyo, the French Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the French Embassy in London. Andrault studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and graduated in 1952. He then worked for the French Ministry of Public Works, where he was responsible for the design of several public buildings. In 1967, he and Parat won the competition to design the Centre Georges Pompidou, which opened in 1977. Andrault has received numerous awards for his work, including the Grand Prix National de l'Architecture in 1982 and the Grand Prix de l'Académie des Beaux-Arts in 1988. He is a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts and the Académie d'Architecture. As of 2021, Michel Andrault's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
