Milton L. Banks is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He was born on October 17, 1958 in Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and was a member of the Bruins' 1979 NCAA championship team. Banks was drafted by the San Diego Clippers in the second round of the 1981 NBA draft. He played for the Clippers, the Denver Nuggets, and the Los Angeles Lakers during his five-year NBA career. He averaged 8.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in his career. After his playing career, Banks became a coach. He was an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1989 to 1991 and the head coach of the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA from 1997 to 1998. He also served as an assistant coach for the Phoenix Suns from 1998 to 2000. Banks has also appeared in several films and television shows, including the 1994 film Blue Chips and the television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. As of 2021, Milton L.
