Miroljub Aleksic is a Serbian actor who has been active in the film industry since the 1950s. He is best known for his roles in films such as The Battle of Kosovo (1989), The Wounds (1998), and The White Suit (2002). Aleksic was born in Vranje, Serbia, Yugoslavia, on 19 June 1922. He studied acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, graduating in 1950. He began his career in the theater, performing in productions such as The Brothers Karamazov and The Cherry Orchard. Aleksic made his film debut in 1954 in the film The White Suit. He went on to appear in over 50 films, including The Battle of Kosovo (1989), The Wounds (1998), and The White Suit (2002). He has also appeared in numerous television series, including The Life and Times of Vuk Karadzic (1996) and The White Suit (2002). Aleksic has been honored with numerous awards, including the Order of Merit of the Republic of Serbia in 2004 and the Order of St. Sava in 2006.
