He was a syndicated sports-columnist for Prothom Alo (a widely circulated vernacular) during the World Cup Soccer (2010) and ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, respectively. He has been the editor of the high-profile academic journal Crossings: ULAB Journal of English Studies. Amazon.com has included an extract of his review of “Essential Tagore” (a Harvard University Press publication) to use as one of the promotional commentaries for the book.
