Nafisa Ali is an Indian actress, model, social activist and politician. She was born on 18 January 1957 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She is the daughter of the late Air Commodore Syed Sultan Ahmed and his wife, Shireen Sultan Ahmed. Nafisa Ali began her career as a model and then moved on to acting. She made her debut in the film Junoon in 1978. She has since appeared in numerous films, including Arth, Saath Saath, Karma, and Guru. She has also appeared in television shows such as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. In addition to her acting career, Nafisa Ali is also a social activist and politician. She is a member of the Indian National Congress and has served as a Member of Parliament in the 15th Lok Sabha. She is also a member of the National Advisory Council and the National Commission for Women. Nafisa Ali has been married twice. She was first married to Col. Raj Kapoor in 1981 and they had two children, Pia and Ajitabh. She later married businessman, Major Ravi Anand in 1997. As of 2021, Nafisa Ali's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.
