Nathaniel Maxuilili is a Namibian politician who served as the first Prime Minister of Namibia from 1990 to 1995. He was born on 10 October 1927 in the town of Okahandja in the Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia. Maxuilili was educated at the University of South Africa and the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was a member of the South West African People's Organization (SWAPO) and was a leader of the Namibian independence movement. He was a member of the Constituent Assembly of Namibia from 1989 to 1990 and was elected as the first Prime Minister of Namibia in 1990. Maxuilili served as Prime Minister until 1995, when he was succeeded by Hage Geingob. He then served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1995 to 2002. He retired from politics in 2002 and has since been involved in various charitable and humanitarian activities. As of 2021, Nathaniel Maxuilili's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
