Nathaniel N. Craley Jr. is a former American politician who served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1967 to 1972. He was born in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, on November 17, 1927. He attended Red Lion High School and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1950. Craley served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953, and then worked as a sales representative for the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company. He was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1966 and served until 1972. During his tenure, he was a member of the House Appropriations Committee and the House Education Committee. In 1972, Craley was appointed to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, where he served until his retirement in 1992. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania State Board of Education from 1975 to 1992. Craley is married to his wife, Mary, and has two children. He is a member of the Red Lion Presbyterian Church and the Red Lion Lions Club. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania State Grange and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
