Nazem Amine is a Lebanese wrestler who was born on 29 May, 1927 in Zahlé, Lebanon. He is one of the most successful wrestlers in the Middle East, having won numerous medals in international competitions. He is also a two-time Olympic medalist, having won a bronze medal in the 1948 Summer Olympics in London and a silver medal in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Amine began his wrestling career in the 1940s and quickly rose to prominence in the sport. He was a member of the Lebanese national team and competed in numerous international competitions, including the Mediterranean Games, the Pan Arab Games, and the Asian Games. He also competed in the 1948 and 1952 Summer Olympics, where he won a bronze medal in 1948 and a silver medal in 1952. Amine is considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and is still remembered fondly in his home country of Lebanon.
