Nedelle Torrisi is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. She is best known for her solo work, as well as her collaborations with artists such as The Bird and the Bee, The Rentals, and The Long Winters. Nedelle was born in Redding, California, and grew up in the small town of Anderson, California. She began playing music at a young age, learning to play the piano and guitar. She attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she studied music and literature. Nedelle has released four solo albums, including her debut, Advance, in 2004. She has also released two EPs, and has collaborated with a number of artists, including The Bird and the Bee, The Rentals, and The Long Winters. Nedelle has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has performed at festivals such as SXSW, CMJ, and Pop Montreal. She has also appeared on television shows such as Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Last Call with Carson Daly. Nedelle is currently based in Los Angeles, California. She continues to write and record music, and is currently working on her fifth solo album.
