Nobuhiro Takashiro is a Japanese actor and voice actor. He is best known for his roles in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. He has also appeared in numerous live-action films and television series. Takashiro was born on 27 May 1954 in Shimoichi, Nara, Japan. He graduated from the Osaka University of Arts in 1977. Takashiro began his career as a voice actor in 1979, and has since voiced characters in numerous anime series, including Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. He has also appeared in numerous live-action films and television series, including the films The Last Samurai and The Twilight Samurai, and the television series Kamen Rider Den-O. Takashiro is married to actress Yumi Takigawa, with whom he has two children. He is also a member of the Japan Actors Union.
