Norbert Klaar is a German sport shooter who has won numerous medals in international competitions. He has won two gold medals at the Olympic Games, one in the men's 10 metre air rifle event at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and one in the men's 50 metre rifle three positions event at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. He also won a bronze medal in the men's 50 metre rifle three positions event at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Klaar has also won several medals at the World Championships, including a gold medal in the men's 50 metre rifle three positions event at the 1986 World Championships in Moscow and a silver medal in the men's 10 metre air rifle event at the 1990 World Championships in Moscow. Klaar is currently the president of the German Shooting Federation. He is also a member of the International Shooting Sport Federation's Executive Committee.
