Noriko Kosai is a Japanese sport shooter who was born on 28 November, 1955. She is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won a silver medal in the women's 10 metre air rifle event at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and a bronze medal in the same event at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. She also won a gold medal in the women's 10 metre air rifle event at the 1986 Asian Games in Seoul. Kosai began shooting at the age of 15 and was selected for the Japanese national team in 1976. She has won numerous national and international competitions, including the World Cup in 1979 and the World Championships in 1981. Kosai is married to fellow shooter Masahiro Kosai and has two children. She currently works as a shooting coach and is a member of the Japan Shooting Federation.
