Parviz Bahmani is an Iranian boxer who was born on 5 May, 1956 in Iran. He is a two-time Olympic bronze medalist and a three-time Asian Games gold medalist. He is also a two-time world champion in the light flyweight division. Bahmani began his boxing career in 1975 and won his first international medal at the 1977 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships. He went on to win the bronze medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow and the gold medal at the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi. He also won the gold medal at the 1986 Asian Games in Seoul and the bronze medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. Bahmani retired from boxing in 1989 and has since been involved in coaching and refereeing. He is currently the head coach of the Iranian national boxing team. He is also a member of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). As of 2021, Parviz Bahmani's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
