Pierre Andraca is a French swimmer who was born on 25 September, 1958 in Annaba, Algeria. He is best known for his success in the pool, having won multiple medals at the European Championships and World Championships. He has also competed in the Olympic Games, winning a bronze medal in the 200m butterfly at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Andraca began his swimming career at the age of 12, and went on to become one of the most successful swimmers in French history. He won a total of nine medals at the European Championships, including four gold medals, and a total of seven medals at the World Championships, including two gold medals. He also won a bronze medal in the 200m butterfly at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Andraca retired from competitive swimming in 1989, and has since become a coach and mentor to young swimmers. He is currently the head coach of the French national swimming team. He is also a member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame. As of 2021, Pierre Andraca's net worth is estimated to be roughly $1 million.
