Ram Sewak Yadav was born on 2 July, 1926 in India. He is a politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was the Governor of Bihar from August 2015 to August 2017. Yadav was born in a small village in Uttar Pradesh. He completed his schooling from a local school and went on to pursue a degree in law from the University of Allahabad. After completing his degree, he started practicing law in Allahabad. Yadav entered politics in the late 1950s and was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1962. He served as a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government from 1967 to 1977. He was also elected to the Lok Sabha in 1977 and served as a minister in the Union government from 1977 to 1979. Yadav was appointed as the Governor of Bihar in August 2015 and served in the post until August 2017. He is currently a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Yadav is 97 years old.
