He had a recurring role in the television series The Waltons, and appeared in the films The Great Gatsby, The Towering Inferno, and The Sting. Graves was married to actress and singer, Joanne Dru, from 1951 until her death in 1996. He passed away on April 28, 2020 at the age of 101.
