Jones signed with the Ottawa Redblacks on January 14, 2014. Making starting appearances at Corner and Free Safety He was released by the Redblacks on September 6, 2014.
Outside of sports, Reggie Jones has become one of the most sought after speakers in the state of Washington. He is most known for his "Believe Beyond Tour" which in its first effort landed in over 50 schools throughout the United States and Canada. His powerful messages, unique presentation style, and great story telling are what captivates his audiences. He has been highlighted at National Youth Conferences, Leadership Conferences, Assemblies, Youth Rallies, Church Services, Banquets, etc. He was also featured on the 2014 NSOG (Nothing Short of Greatness) Tour with world-renowned speaker Trent Shelton, the Keynote Speaker at WeDay (A youth conference, empowering a generation of young global citizens through an inspirational event and a year-long educational initiative), as well as the Keynote speaker for the National Youth At-Risk Conference in Savannah, Georgia.
Reggie Jones is also Founder, President, and Director of the mentoring program Showtime For Stars, a youth mentoring program for Student Athletes. In May 2014 Showtime For Stars put on two Inaugural staple mark events for the foundation. The first event was the 1st Annual Showtime For Stars Golf Tournament held at the illustrious New Castle Golf Club in New Castle, WA (Wa premier Golf and event destination). The second was the Showtime For Stars Football Skills Camp held in Kent, WA. NFL athletes from various teams across the league served as coaches and guest speakers. There were over 300 registered participants spanning from Washington, California, and Oregon. The foundation is supported from various businesses and former professional and collegiate athletes serving as mentors to youth (Ages 12–18).
