Rocky Selvarajoo is a Singaporean boxer who was born on 15 December, 1952 in Singapore. He is 68 years old. Selvarajoo began his boxing career in the late 1970s and quickly rose to prominence in the Singaporean boxing scene. He won the Singapore National Amateur Boxing Championship in 1979 and 1980, and was the first Singaporean to win a gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games in 1981. Selvarajoo has also competed in the Asian Games, the Commonwealth Games, and the Olympic Games. He was the first Singaporean to qualify for the Olympic Games in 1984, and he competed in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. Selvarajoo is considered one of the most successful boxers in Singaporean history. He has won numerous awards and accolades, including the Singapore Sportsman of the Year award in 1981 and the Meritorious Service Medal in 1984. Selvarajoo is currently retired from boxing and is a coach and mentor to young boxers in Singapore. He is also a motivational speaker and has written several books on boxing.
