He is best known for his design of the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris, the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, and the National Stadium in Seoul. Taillibert studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and graduated in 1952. He then worked for the French Ministry of Public Works, where he was responsible for the design of several public buildings. In the 1960s, Taillibert began to focus on sports architecture, designing the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris in 1972. He then went on to design the Olympic Stadium in Montreal for the 1976 Summer Olympics, and the National Stadium in Seoul for the 1988 Summer Olympics. Taillibert has also designed several other stadiums, including the Stade de France in Paris, the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, and the Stade de la Beaujoire in Nantes.
