Roozbeh Azar is an Iranian guitarist and composer who has been active in the music industry since the early 2000s. He is best known for his work with the Iranian rock band Hypernova, which he co-founded in 2003. He has also released several solo albums, including his debut album, "The Art of Flying" (2006). Azar was born in Mashhad, Iran in 1980. He began playing guitar at the age of 12 and was soon performing in local clubs. He went on to study music at the University of Tehran, where he graduated with a degree in music composition. In 2003, Azar co-founded the Iranian rock band Hypernova, which quickly gained popularity in Iran and abroad. The band released two albums, "Rise of the Third Planet" (2005) and "Voyage of Discovery" (2008). In 2006, Azar released his debut solo album, "The Art of Flying". The album was well-received and earned him a nomination for Best Male Artist at the Iranian Music Awards. Azar has since released several more solo albums, including "The Journey" (2009), "The Dream" (2011), and "The Awakening" (2013). He has also collaborated with a number of other Iranian musicians, including Mohsen Namjoo and Siavash Ghomayshi. Azar currently lives in Tehran, where he continues to compose and perform music. He is also a member of the Iranian Music Academy.
