He also served on the House Insurance Committee, the House Judiciary Committee, and the House Public Health and Human Services Committee. In addition to his political career, Roy Mitchell is also a successful businessman. He is the owner of Mitchell Enterprises, a real estate development and management company. He is also the owner of Mitchell Properties, a real estate investment firm. Roy Mitchell is married to his wife, Mary, and they have two children. He is an active member of his church and is involved in several charitable organizations. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Mississippi Association of Realtors.
