He has released several solo albums, including his debut album, "Russ Walker", in 1979. Walker was born in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, and grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. He began playing guitar at the age of 12, and by the time he was 15, he was playing in local bands. He attended the University of British Columbia, where he studied music and composition. Walker co-founded Prism in 1975, and the band released their debut album, "See Forever Eyes", in 1977. The band went on to release several more albums, including "Armageddon" (1979), "Small Change" (1981), and "Beat Street" (1984). Walker left Prism in 1985, and released his first solo album, "Russ Walker", in 1979. He has since released several more solo albums, including "The Best of Russ Walker" (1989), "The Best of Russ Walker, Vol. 2" (1991), and "The Best of Russ Walker, Vol. 3" (1995). Walker has also composed music for television and film, including the theme song for the Canadian television series "The Beachcombers".
