Sacha Golob is a British philosopher and academic. He is currently a professor of philosophy at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of All Souls College. He is also a Fellow of the British Academy and a member of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Golob was born in British Columbia, Canada, and grew up in Vancouver. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia in 2003, and his Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University of Oxford in 2005 and 2008, respectively. Golob's research focuses on the history of philosophy, particularly the history of ethics and political philosophy. He has published several books, including The Oxford Handbook of the History of Ethics (Oxford University Press, 2013) and The Oxford Handbook of the History of Political Philosophy (Oxford University Press, 2016). Golob is married to the British philosopher and academic, Sarah Golob. They have two children.
