Sally Magnusson is a British broadcaster and writer. She was born on 11 October 1955 in Glasgow, Scotland. She is the daughter of the late BBC broadcaster Magnus Magnusson and his wife Mamie. Sally Magnusson is best known for her work as a presenter on BBC Scotland's flagship news programme Reporting Scotland. She has also presented a number of other programmes, including the BBC's Songs of Praise and the BBC Radio 4 series, The Reunion. Sally Magnusson has written several books, including Where Memories Go: Why Dementia Changes Everything, which was shortlisted for the Costa Book Awards in 2014. She has also written a novel, The Sealwoman's Gift, which was published in 2018. Sally Magnusson is married to the journalist and author, Mark Tully. They have two children, a son and a daughter.
